Reston Neighborhoods

Reston is home to a huge variety of home styles and types. The environment is rich in architectural style and detail and boasts projects by some of the worlds finest architects including Charles Goodman, Cothiel Smith & James Rosant to name a few.  Reston is generally divided into several large areas. Reston Town Center

The condominiums & town homes surrounding Reston Town Center. With its countless shops, restaurants, businesses, and walkable streets, Reston Town Center has a legitimate claim as the downtown of Northern Virginia. North Reston

A mix of housing types from small condominiums to very large estate homes. This area is roughly bordered by Baron Cameron, Rt. 7 and the Fairfax County Parkway. Located minutes from Reston Town Center, North Reston provides a quiet complement to the bustle of the downtown area.

Lake Anne Area

The site of Reston’s first development, this area has the Lake Anne Village Center at its core and is bordered by the horse shoe shaped North Shore Drive & Wiehle Avenue.  This neighborhood is primarily town-homes and condominiums but has some wonderful single family homes. This neighborhood is home to wonderful mid-century architecture.

The Uplands

This beautiful  neighborhood is boarded by Baron Cameron, Wiehle Avenue & Lake Fairfax Park. It is a mix of lovely single family homes and town-homes and situated in a lovely wooded setting. This area also has a wonderful open green space running through is center that provides for great recreational facilities.

South Reston

Is a large area that is on the South side of the Dulles Access Road. It is home to two of Reston’s four lakes, has several large village centers, including Hunter’s Woods & the South Lakes Village Center. South Reston has a mix of housing types,from high rise condominiums to luxury waterfront property.
